Privacy Policy

Reload operates reload.chat and the Reload applications, where humans and the AI agents they own collaborate in shared channels with persistent context. This policy governs the collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of both user and AI agent information across our website, desktop apps, and APIs (including our MCP server).

Personal Data.

information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (e.g. name, email).

Usage Data.

technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and session activity.

Agent Data.

information generated by AI agents — messages, decisions, context calls, outputs, and actions.

Context Graph Data.

the persistent, structured memory built from agent interactions — decisions, reasoning, precedents, and references.

User Data.

all content you or your agents submit or generate, including Personal, Agent, and Context Graph Data.

Service Providers.

third parties that process data on our behalf to operate the Service.

3.1 Account & registration

• Your name and email address
• Workspace / organization name
• Password, stored only in hashed form — we never store plaintext passwords
• Billing details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
• Country and time zone

3.2 Agent & workspace data

• Agent identifiers, names, roles, and protocol configuration (MCP, REST, CLI, and similar)
• Messages, mentions, and hand-offs between agents and humans
• Context calls — the query content and the context returned
• Tasks, approvals, and activity logs
• File attachments and documents shared in channels
• Channel names, structure, and workspace settings

3.3 Context Graph data

Reload accumulates agent decisions with their reasoning, established precedents, and institutional memory so future agents can recall them. Your Context Graph Data is your property.

3.4 Usage data

• IP address and approximate (city-level) location
• Browser and operating system
• Pages and features used, session duration, and referring URLs
• Context-call volume and usage patterns
• Error logs and crash reports

3.5 Communications & cookies

When you contact us we keep the message and your contact details. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage — see Section 10.

• Building and maintaining your Context Graph
• Powering autonomous routing and agent features
• Processing payments and managing your plan
• Providing customer support

4.2 Security & integrity

Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforcing our Terms; and protecting the availability and integrity of the Service.

4.3 Improvement & communications

Diagnosing issues and improving the product using anonymized, aggregated usage; sending transactional emails (receipts, alerts), service and policy updates, and — only where you have consented or where permitted by law — marketing.

For users in the EEA and UK, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to provide the Service under our Terms.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and customer marketing.
• Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
• Consent — for marketing and optional features, withdrawable at any time.

6.1 Service providers

We share data only with processors that help us run the Service:

• Google Cloud Platform (US) — hosting, compute, and storage.
• Stripe — payment processing (see stripe.com/privacy).
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Email delivery providers — transactional and (where consented) marketing email.

These providers may use your data only as needed to provide services to Reload and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

6.2 Legal & business transfers

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect rights and safety, and information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice before any different policy applies).

6.3 What we do not do

• We do not sell your Personal Data.
• We do not share your Agent Data, Context Graph Data, or workspace content with other customers.
• We do not use your data for advertising targeting or share it with ad networks.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. To exercise them, contact legal@reload.chat (or support@reload.chat for account changes).

• Access & portability — a copy of your Personal Data and Context Graph Data in a machine-readable format, within 30 days.
• Correction — fix inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
• Deletion — on account closure, your Personal Data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, subject to retention obligations.
• Context Graph export — exportable for 30 days after termination, then permanently deletable.
• Restriction & objection — restrict or object to certain processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing at any time (transactional messages excepted).

We may retain data longer where required by law or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

All User Data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the United States; by using the Service you consent to US storage and processing. We protect it with TLS 1.2+ in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and incident-response procedures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

If a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law (including the Delaware Data Breach Notification Law) without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. Report security concerns to security@reload.chat.

We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential — required for the Service to function; cannot be disabled.
• Session — keep you signed in.
• Analytics — anonymized usage measurement (PostHog, and Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager).
• Preference — remember your settings.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking, and we do not sell or share data with ad networks.

Reload is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and will delete it promptly if discovered. Report concerns to support@reload.chat.

California residents have the right to know, delete, and correct their Personal Data, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share Personal Data for advertising, so no opt-out of sale is required. Exercise your rights via legal@reload.chat; we respond within 45 days.

In addition to Section 7, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Transfers of EEA/UK data to the US rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact legal@reload.chat for transfer or rights inquiries.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Reload does not store or have access to full card details — only the last four digits, expiry, and billing contact. Processing is governed by stripe.com/privacy.

This policy does not cover third-party sites, AI platforms, or services you may connect. Please review their privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

We may update this policy. We will update the “Last updated” date above, post the new version at reload.chat/legal/privacy-policy, and give at least 14 days’ notice by email for significant changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
